Student assistant wanted!
The Junior Professorship of Business Psychology is looking for a committed and motivated student assistant to support research and teaching activities. The junior professorship is primarily focused on the psychological consequences of digitization in the workplace (e.g. remote work, virtual teamwork). This offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in a highly topical and dynamic field of research and to receive insights into developing and implementing coursework.
Responsibilities:
- Research: support in planning and conducting scientific studies, data collection and analysis as well as preparing publications and presentations.
- Teaching: Assistance in planning and organizing courses, including the preparation of teaching materials
- Assistance with administrative tasks relating to both research and teaching
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s student in social sciences or psychology (ideally from FAU but students from other institutions are also welcome)
- Interest in industrial, organizational, or business psychology
- High degree of independence, reliability and commitment
- Good knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Very good knowledge of German and English (in writing and speech)
- Desirable, but not required: Good knowledge of statistical software (e.g. SPSS, R) and research methods

Work scope:
5-10 hours/week- initially for a fixed term of 6 months, but further employment will be sought
remuneration:
Hourly wage (valid as of 1.4.24): €14.25 (Master), €13.24 (Bachelor), refer to FAU hourly rates (partially translated)
